Plasma Pen is offered at Jem Med Spa!

Plasma pen technology, is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a handheld device to treat skin conditions. This pen uses plasma, which is ionized nitrogen gas, to create small arcs of microcurrents that form scab-like dots on the skin. The procedure usually involves cleansing the skin, applying a numbing cream, and then treating the skin with the pen.

Plasma pen can be used to treat:
  • Actinic Keratosis
  • Sebaceous Hyperplasia
  • Moles
  • Skin Tags
  • Warts

These can be removed in minutes and can also be used to treat other benign skin lesions cleared by your dermatologist.

Immediately Following Treatment

-Continue your normal daily activities acknowledging you will have carbon crusting occurring on the treatment areas causing a “social downtime.”

-Avoid exercise (especially sweating onto the area) for at least 3-4 days. Heat, sweat and/or steam can add to the inflammation that is already present.

-Use the post treatment products provided to you by JEM

-Please minimize sun exposure with shading, hats, and reapply sunscreen every 2 hours the first 7 days.

Been meaning to start Botox for a while, but kept putting it off. I was visiting from Texas and finally decided to, so I booked with JEM who booked me with Megan, and I could not be happier.
