Our Sculptra Injection Technique
After your consultation to develop your treatment plan, you will receive your injections in one of our private procedure rooms. The injector can use a local anesthetic or numbing cream before sterilizing and marking the areas to be injected. As soon as you are prepared, Sculptra will be injected down to the deeper skin layers at the chosen areas of the face. For best results, our expert team recommends a series of four treatments that are each done at JEM Medspa Indiana about three weeks apart.
To promote healing and ease any swelling, redness, tenderness, or bruising near the treatment sites, we recommend applying cold compressions on the injection sites and avoiding excess sun exposure. Wear sunscreen if you do go out. Most patients see clear improvements right after their Sculptra injections with final results developing after several months when the natural production of collagen improves the health of the skin. When Sculptra is performed as a series over 3 – 4 months, your results may last as long as two years.

First time visiting Jem Med Spa in Munster and absolutely fell in love with the ambiance and staff! It was also my first time getting Botox and was not disappointed, I went in a bit scared and nervous, however, Ang and Karissa took their time explaining the process and importance of skin care, and also talked about the other services offered. Love that they both took the time to educate me and also made me comfortable throughout the process which really made me less anxious about the needles. Needless to say, I will be returning and they are the only ones I trust with my face!
